Request The Catholic Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick, formerly known as Last Rites or Extreme Unction, is a ritual of healing appropriate not only for physical but also for mental and spiritual sickness. RCIA - Becoming Catholic
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a process designed for individuals who are considering becoming Catholic:
Persons who have never been baptized as Christians.
Persons who have been baptized in another Faith and are now interested in the Catholic Tradition.
Persons who were baptized in the Catholic Faith but were not raised Catholic and did not receive the Sacraments of Eucharist or Confirmation.

For those not baptized this process leads to the Easter Vigil where they receive the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.

Those who have been previously baptized in a Christian tradition are invited into full communion in the Church through the sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist.The process is not limited to a calendar year. This process is done together with St. Leo's partner parishes.  Each participant discerns when God is calling him/her to a decision of faith. The Strangers We Meet

In the vestibule of St. Leo the Great Church hangs a painting by the late Rev.  Jim Hasse, SJ, depicting the Emmaus. Fr. Jim captured spiritual life in his works, revealing the sacredness in everyday people and everyday actions. “Jim’s paintings were mirrors in which people could see their own beauty,” shared Fr. Joseph Folzenlogen, SJ. Fr. Hasse used St. Leo parishioners in this 2004 image.

“Since Jim used people from the parishes and neighborhoods where he worked as his models, the paintings were not just images. They were connections with people he loved. Those people were also his children,” shared Fr. Joe.

Emmaus, meaning “warm spring,” is a town where Jesus appeared as a stranger to two of his followers, later revealing himself in the breaking of the bread and sharing of the wine. In the upper left of our painting is the figure of the angel by the tomb of the Risen Lord, and the women running to share the news. What a beautiful remembrance of purpose in each of our lives—that we are not really strangers to each other but that we are all one universal family in our life’s journey.
