 We need you!   We appreciate you!   We love you!

Our needs so far exceed our own resources on many levels and we invite you to share your time, talents and treasures to be about the Lord's work with us.

Cash to Cover Operating Expenses is Essential:  in order to continue to provide the many spiritual and corporal works of mercy that St. Leo’s provides for the residents of the struggling neighborhood of North Fairmount, we must be able to turn on the lights and electronic equipment, plug in the freezers and refrigerators in the food pantry, heat the buildings, answer the phones, access running water, repair and maintain our physical plant and compensate our small, dedicated and determined staff.  Without these we simply cannot answer Jesus’ call to love our neighbors as ourselves.

We rely on you without taking you away from your own parish and our hope is that we give to you additional experiences to live the gospel in accord with your own parish mission statement but in ways different from what your parish may be able to offer you.

Your donation is humbly and gratefully accepted.  Every single gift means everything to us!

 ¡Gracias!    Murakoze!    Thank You!

We are deeply grateful for your continued and generous support. Our St. Leo the Great parish community promises to remember you and your loved ones in our private prayer, as well as in our communal prayer, which is to say that we are praying for you all the time. May our gracious God fill you with every blessing!

Fall Appeal 2017

Fall 2017

Dear Friends,

St. Leo’s is growing! We are proud to report that our parish and ministry programs are increasing in both size and number. That’s the good news! The bad news is that that our parish and ministry programs are increasing in both size and number! There are liturgies, classes, programs, and meetings happening on our campus, in our buildings, gardens and parking lot every day of the week! As you well know, increased growth brings increased expenses.

What a wonderful problem to have! We see our growth as a clear sign that with the Holy Spirit and your partnership, together we are living the spiritual and corporal works of mercy in real and concrete ways by:

×         Providing food and fresh produce for the residents of our forgotten neighborhood at our Food Pantry and Community Garden;

×         Teaching moms to make clothing items for themselves and their families at our Sewing Class;

×         Helping immigrants and refugees learn English to become naturalized citizens and to find jobs to support themselves at our English As A Second Language Classes;

×         Preparing children and adults to receive the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and First Eucharist at our Religious Education Classes;

×         Teaching young people how to remain active and engaged in their faith lives through our Youth Ministry Program, Server’s Club and Children’s Liturgy of the Word program.

Please, help us continue to grow! Here are some ways you can help:

×         Make a donation by cash, check or online.

×         Your weekly, monthly, or quarterly gift helps maintain us throughout the year. Sustaining gifts are most welcome and are tax deductible.

×         Remember a Loved One. Your gift to St. Leo’s is a caring way to honor or remember a special person, or mark a special occasion. We are happy to notify your loved ones of your gift.

×         Gifts-In-Kind including food items, clothing, toiletries, and wish list items are just a few of the useful and practical items that help us assist those in most need.

×         Volunteer! Be sure to check us out on Facebook at:  St. Leo the Great Catholic Church and on our Web Page at www.saint-leo.org, and please spread the word about us to your family and friends

×         Without a doubt, your ongoing prayers are much needed and most appreciated!

               We are deeply grateful for your continued and generous support. Our St. Leo the Great parish community promises to remember you and your loved ones in our private prayer, as well as in our communal prayer, which is to say that we are praying for you all the time. May our gracious God fill you with every blessing!

May our loving God continue to bless you.
